China’s hydrogen industry is growing fast and is worth keeping a close eye on. The progress being made in hydrogen across the country is nothing short of incredible. The decisions made at CIHC are likely to have a positive impact on how hydrogen systems will be designed, protected and regulated for years to come.
CIHC is the China International Hydrogen Congress and Expo, an event held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. This March, CIHC is the place to be if you want to understand where the hydrogen industry is heading.
This event is bringing together the people designing, building, and safeguarding hydrogen systems at scale. We’ll be there, alongside our Chinese distributor partner at this event, Shanghai Suitech M&E Co., Ltd (上海苏业机电设备有限公司), one of our several valued partners in China.
China Leading the Hydrogen Charge
China produced and consumed over 36 million tonnes of hydrogen in 2024, more than any other country in the world. Renewables now make up more than 60% of China’s total installed power capacity, and in 2025, China generated around 4 trillion kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity, more than the entire EU uses in a year. The BBC has covered this shift in depth, and their conclusion is hard to argue with: China is becoming a green superpower.
CIHC sits right at the centre of this. Now in its fifth year, CIHC 2026 brings together over 600 companies from more than 20 countries across a 50,000 m² exhibition floor. You’ll find 1,000+ products and technologies covering the full hydrogen supply chain, from production to storage, transportation and refuelling, all the way to end use. Alongside the exhibition, CIHC 2026 runs a plenary conference and more than 10 specialist sessions, bringing over 200 speakers and around 3,000 delegates.
The event runs from 25th to 27th March 2026 at the China National Convention Center (Phase I & II), in Beijing. It’s organised by the China Hydrogen Alliance, China Electricity Council, and Beijing Tiger Exhibition Co., Ltd., among others.
This year’s theme is “Towards Innovation and Greenness, Building a Win-Win Future.”

Seetru Hydrogen Valves On Show at CIHC 2026
Our representative, Larita Prescot, together with Suitech, our exhibiting distributor partner for CIHC, will be showcasing a selection of our hydrogen valve range. Covering a pressure range from 0.2 bar to 1,100 bar. Whether you work in hydrogen production, storage, compression, or distribution, there’s something on our stand for your hydrogen project.
Built for the high pressures you get in hydrogen filling and dispensing. We also make a variant of this valve for liquid hydrogen applications, which makes it a solid choice for storage and transportation systems.
Note: for liquid hydrogen applications, please contact us for separate pressure ratings.
An excellent safety valve that offers protection in hydrogen production and compression systems.
A versatile and all-round solution well suited to compression, storage, and purification applications.
Designed to deal with the challenges hydrogen brings with it and systems with flanged connections. It’s straightforward to install and operates to a high standard once it’s in place.
These are just a few of the hydrogen safety valves we’ll have at our CIHC booth. If you’re looking for something specific or you want to talk through your project, our representative and distributor will be ready to assist you with your questions.
If you wish to see our full range of valves for the hydrogen supply chain,
you can visit our hydrogen industry page here.
There you will discover a selection of hydrogen safety valves, flanged valves and change-over valves.
Building Long-Term Partnerships in China
CIHC 2026 is part of a bigger story for us. Over the years, we have attended a range of events, both as visitors and exhibitors. In the past year alone, we’ve exhibited at two major trade shows in China, and we’re building real connections with some wonderful people and businesses.
In July 2025, we took a selection of our safety valves to Modern Railways at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. An event approved by the Ministry of Commerce, PRC and backed by China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., Modern Railways is one of the largest international railway exhibitions in the world, with 16 editions behind it since 1992.
Then in December 2025, we exhibited at Marintec China, one of the most important marine and offshore trade shows in the world, held in Shanghai. You can find out more about Marintec China, our experience there and what we had on show by reading our article here.
CIHC 2026 is our next step. If you’re attending, come and say hello at Booth A014-1, 2. We’ll be there all three days, ready to talk with you about the growth and development that’s taking place in the hydrogen industry. As well as how our valves help you protect your team, environment and business. Our presence at CIHC is just one part of our wider commitment to supporting the hydrogen industry in China.
We continue to grow our presence across China through our local distributor network, working with valued partners such as:
- Jungmann Valves (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
- Suzhou Leitenberger Automatic Control Equipment Co., Ltd.
- ERIKS Fluid Technology Co., Ltd.
- Shanghai Suitech M&E Co., Ltd.
- Leaxin Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. (Shipbuilding & Marine).
It’s an exciting time for hydrogen in China, and we’re proud to be part of it.
