1. Introduction
1.1. The Seetru Organisation consists of Seetru Limited and Leser UK Limited. Seetru Engineering Services is an operating division of Seetru Limited. This policy applies to the whole of the Seetru Organisation.
2. Commitment
2.1. We are committed to conducting our business responsibly to protect our employees and people within our supply chain.
2.2. We acknowledge our ongoing responsibilities in tackling modern slavery and commit to complying with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which includes the following:
- Human trafficking,
- Forced to work, through mental or physical threat,
- Being owned or controlled by an employer through mental or physical abuse or the threat of abuse,
- Being dehumanised, treated as a commodity or being bought or sold as property,
- Being physically constrained or to have restriction placed on freedom of movement,
2.3. This applies to both to our internal labour practices and those within our supply chain.
2.4. None of our own labour in providing our products or services is obtained through modern slavery.
2.5. We do not engage with any organisation, in the United Kingdom or abroad, that supports or is involved in slavery, servitude, forced, or compulsory labour.
2.6. We strictly adhere to the standards required by relevant employment legislation.
3.Potential Exposure
3.1.We consider our exposure to modern slavery to be limited. However, we ensure that such practices do not occur in our business or in the businesses of our suppliers.
4.Implementation
4.1. To our knowledge, we have not conducted business with any organisation involved in modern slavery. All partners, including suppliers and distributors, must adhere to our Code of Conduct.
4.2. Any suspected breach of this policy, internally or by our partners, should be reported directly to the Board or via email to compliance@seetru.com.
This policy statement is made in pursuance of Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2010 and will be reviewed as required.
