Safety valves and special purpose ancillary valves
Seetru Limited are manufacturers of safety valves and other special purpose ancillary valves for a wide range of compressed air, industrial gas, powder, dust, steam and liquid applications. These safety valves meet important international standards, these include: the BS 6759 Parts 2 & 3, AD-Merkblatt A2 and ISO 4126 design codes, and type test approvals from TÜV and AOTC. Seetru safety valves are compliant with the Pressure Equipment Directive and are therefore supplied with the CE mark.

Seetru also has a range of special purpose valves, which are largely for the compressed air industry, and for medium sized industrial oil engines. These include minimum pressure maintaining valves for screw type compressors, and air starting valves for medium size industrial and marine oil engines.

Ebtrade Limited, part of the Seetru group, are the UK agents for Leser valves who manufacture safety valves which are complimentary to the Seetru range. Ebtrade are also agents for Kaneko Sangyo who manufacture breather valves and solenoid valves.

The safety valves available from the Seetru group range up to 400mm in size and 630bar pressure. The ranges are extremely extensive and diverse. The ranges also have various worldwide approvals.

Seetru group can therefore meet the full range of requirements for safety valves.

Liquid level gauges & indicators
Seetru liquid level gauges are primarily of three types; sight gauges, magnetic gauges and capsule operated types. Many of the gauges are direct reading though Seetru also offers a variety of pneumatic and electronic remote reading systems.

The gauge range notably includes the Quickmount and CPI gauges for industrial and chemical applications as well as the Seetol system for tall tanks (to 20 metres and above) incorporating optical and closed circuit TV viewing systems.

The Seetru range of gauges for marine applications have for many years been the great work horse gauges in the Marine Industry. The current standard, the Seeflex gauge system, is approved by all important international classification societies, including Lloyds Register of Shipping, Germanischer Lloyd, NKK Japan, ABS, Det Norske Veritas etc.

Coded pipe couplings & Connectors
A recent addition to Seetru's product range have been its patented coded pipe coupling or connector systems which provide safety and security in pipe and hose couplings for liquid and gas transfer. These couplings ensure that only pre-determined, correct, couplings can be made while maintaining existing pipe and hose work practice.

Services
The Company provides safety valve test and maintenance services, as well as a design advisory service - to develop or adapt individual products to new applications in the relevant field of industry. The Company provides Drawing Office and specification services, for cataloguing purposes, to classifying and other authorities. Where required, the Company also provides outside engineering services for the installation of its products.

Training courses in the use and maintenance of safety valves
Seetru provides training in courses covering the use and maintenance of its own and similar safety valve products. In particular, this may concern the specification, installation, operation and maintenance of safety valves, for instance in the light of the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive.
