Product Description Direct reading liquid level sight gauge with valve fittings and guard tube. General purpose elegant industrial design with tubular or reflex sight glass. Open circuit or closed circuit versions, the latter also for pressurized or vacuum systems.

Product Function To provide a very easily fitted, compact level gauge of unique modern style for moderate pressures for wide range of industrial, domestic and agricultural applications.

Features Guarded tubular or reflex sight gauge with integral gauge collars at two ends, to fit over screwed valve bodies at bottom and top ends. Smooth hand tensioned retention nuts. Gauge connections can be fitted with emergency shut-off valves to avoid spill if sight tube or glass damaged. Bottom collar available with drain valve. Slotted or 'C' shaped metal guard tube. Additional polycarbonate transparent plastic over-guard available to prevent any fragment or liquid spillage. Magnification strip on sight tube.

Benefits Supreme and unique ease of installation. Column can be fitted or removed from gauge fittings without the use of tools by hand tightening only. Gauge tube can be removed from tank for cleaning or servicing while valves remain sealed and tank remains leak-proof. Extreme compactness of gauge renders it largely safe from external damage. Operation of shut-off valves by means of convenient and compact plastic knobs which isolate from temperature. Long service and readily availability of spare parts. Colourless liquids are easily read.

Sizes Available Glass and Polycarbonate any length, minimum 150mm centres. With glass maximum single section of 1 metre, longer gauges built up with glanded intermediate supports. With polycarbonate maximum single section of 4 metres, longer gauges built up with glanded intermediate supports. With Relfex column maximum gauge length is 9 metres built up of sections with fluid interconnections.

Connections 1/2" or 3/4" BSP Parallel (G1/2, G3/4) male thread standard, other threads and bosses to meet requirements.

Materials of Construction Fittings: Brass, stainless steel, polypropylene. Seals: Viton or Nitrile or to meet requirements. Sight glass: Borosilicate glass or polycarbonate. Guard Tube: Aluminium, Brass, Stainless steel, Chrome plated mild steel.

Pressure and Temp Range For glass Sight Tubes: up to 16 bar g & 150°C. For Polycarbonate Sight tubes: up to 14bar g & 100°C. For Relfex viewing glass: up to 2.67bar g & 150°C. Standard Heavy duty Stainless Steel Reflex gauge available for high pressure service.
