The Quickmount & Quickflex Liquid Level Gauges
The Seetru Quickmount liquid level gauge is one of the great industrial work horse gauges, it is extremely widely used the world over. It is used on water and fuel tanks on locomotives, on farming tanks, on road transport vehicles and in many many static applications where compactness and good serviceability counts. This includes hot water applications for catering boilers.
The tank content gauges are of an attractive and compact direct reading design with unique, rapid installation and maintenance features. They are designed for general industrial use.
The seals in the gauge are generally elastomeric seals in materials to suit the service. Nitrile, Viton , Ethylene-Propylene and special Silicones are the principal materials used.

Tubular sight glass design
Sight tubes in glass or polycarbonate. Protecting tube of aluminum, brass or stainless steel with optional supplementary transparent polycarbonate protecting tube. Also available with automatic safety shut off valve and drain valve. The construction provides a modern gauge which is aesthetically pleasing. suitable for a wide range of pressures and temperatures.
Flat Reflex glass - Quickflex Gauge
Excellent level indication even of colourless liquids is provided by Reflex glass viewing windows. The Reflex glass is made of toughened borosilicate. It is housed and protected in a robust stainless steel column.
Ease of installation and maintenance
The Quickmount gauge can be installed without the use of special tools. Threaded end units are screwed into female tank bosses. The gauge collars slip over these units and are secured by hand tightening retaining nuts. 'O' ring sealing is used throughout. The isolating valves will allow column removal without need to drain the tank.
Tank calibration
A graduated scaleplate can be supplied for precise quantative indication of the liquid content. This scaleplate is attached to the column, providing a direct observation of the liquid level against the units of graduation.
Tank connection
A closed circuit or open circuit pattern may be selected for the gauge.
Closed circuit pattern
Direct connection from the top of the gauge to the tank can be made with a screw-down valve or a valveless unit.
NOTE: When two valves are fitted it is essential that both valves are opened to obtain the correct liquid level reading.
Open circuit pattern
Open circuit connection is only allowable when it is possible for the gauge column to extend above the top of the tank.
The upper end of the gauge can be supplied with an automatic safety vent valve or, alternatively, a pipe union connection. The automatic safety vent valve will allow air to pass, but will seal against a liquid level. In the case of the pipe union connection design, a 10mm o/d steel vent pipe is returned to the tank or into the tank vent pipe.
