Seetru products are approved by the relevant authorities.

Safety Valves
It's extensive range of safety relief valves variously carry approvals from, or comply, with the relevant BS, DIN and ISO standards, for example, BS6759, BS4434, AD Merkblatt A2 & HP0 (TÜV type test approval) and ISO4126. Seetru's associate company supplies valves which are ASME-NB/API approved (UV Stamp) and carry all important worldwide approvals. All the standard ranges of valves available are compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (and thus carry the CE mark).

Soft Seated Safety Valve leak tightness testing is carried out at either re-seat pressure or at 90% of the set pressure.
Acceptance criteria is zero leakage rate over a test duration of 10 seconds.
The Seal tightness can be checked audibly, by pressure decay or Helium leak detection depending on test regime & valve application.
